We’re looking for a hiring specialist who has a real passion for working with and helping people (in this case HR managers, hiring managers, and business owners), an interest in human resources and technology, and a hunger to learn and grow professionally. We’re building an extraordinary experience for the clients and candidates we interact with, and therefore are looking to hire an exceptional hiring specialist.

The JANE team is highly collaborative and we work closely in an open work environment. Our entire team plans to pitch in and guide you, so you can quickly transition into the full role of a hiring specialist, work one-on-one with our clients, and deliver the outstanding service JANE is known for.

The JANE team typically works an 8-hour day, Monday through Friday.

What will you be doing:

  • Four to six weeks of initial training period
  • Utilizing the JANE software platform to help manage the hiring process for clients
  • Onboarding new clients, developing marketing plans for jobs, creating client job descriptions, and interview questions.
  • Reviewing candidates’ applications in clients’ portals; determining which applicants to advance
  • Scheduling and conducting phone interviews with candidates and communicating results with the client.
  • Participating in weekly meetings with the team where your ideas can be heard.
  • Continuously honing your skills and knowledge of HR to support JANE’s mission and core values.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate’s Degree required.
  • One to two years work experience in a client services related role.
  • You pick-up on new topics and responsibilities quickly and enjoy researching to become familiar with areas that you haven’t mastered yet.
  • Organization is your middle name. You are a flexible multi-tasker who is highly-organized, detail-focused, and knows how to prioritize.
  • You have a knack for writing. You understand tone, correct grammar, and have strong written communication skills.
  • You have an analytical mind and thrive in situations where you’re given independence and responsibility. You're willing and able to take on a leadership role on projects.
  • You type fast (you have tested yourself by googling “typing test” and you score 40 WPM or more).
  • Strong interpersonal skills; you work extremely well with others, can clearly and confidently communicate your thoughts, and are extremely comfortable speaking with clients, candidates and responding to prospects in-person and over the phone. The JANE team meets regularly and places a high value on collaboration.
  • You're well-versed in Google Apps (gmail, docs, spreadsheets, calendars) & Microsoft Word/Excel. You’re tech savvy and able to get started with new tools such as Slack, Guru, and Hubspot.
  • You’re eager to learn more about HR and how to use technology to advance the entire industry.
